SYNOPSIS:
The Needcompany returns to the Iberoamerican Theater Festival 2014 after four years; in 2010, during the Festival's XII edition, they surprised the Colombians with The Deer House. For the XIV edition they will take part in the Festival with This Door is too small (for a Bear), directed by Grace Ellen Barkey. Barkey’s productions are often surreal and full of absurd humor and this piece is not the exception. This Door is too small (for a Bear) is a comic contemporary dance performance in which “Grace Ellen Barkey has created a visual idiom of her own that adds to her quest for ‘how to free your mind’, looking for that part of the mind that has not yet been fathomed.”
