La Biferia Steak House is a restaurant in Bogota specialized in grilled meats. They offer different types of 100% Colombian beef cuts, from the best herds in the country and properly handled until vacuum storage. The beef also has a controlled maturation to achieve the best flavor and tenderness.
As a starter you can enjoy some delicious chorizos Santarrosanos (typical of the municipality of Santa Rosa de Cabal, in the Risaralda department), chunchullo or chinchulines (chitterlings), chicharrones, empanadas, soups and even carpaccio.
Mains are served in generous portions (the Baby Back Ribs portion, for example, is 700 grams). Most recommended dishes are the Chopper Steak (ground beef in mold, accompanied by fries with skin, suero costeño and dijon mustard), the Asado de Tira (bone-in cut; it is the top of the ribs and has excellent flavor) and the Bife de Ancho (thick cut with soft texture, juicy and tasty).
We can say that the wine list is simple but more than adequate and complete to achieve the pairing with the variety of meats offered to the guests.
La Biferia is an informal restaurant with wide liquors and cocktails list, ambient music and the option of outdoor seating. The place takes reservations and is perfect for groups. So it is the ideal restaurant for a casual lunch or dinner with friends or family –if you have kids you don’t have to worry for what they would eat: the children’s menu is an excellent option for them.
There are a total of four branches of La Biferia Steak House in Bogota. One is located in the Calle 79B (79B Street) or Calle de los Anticuarios. The other is located in Usaquén, northeast of the city. There is another branch in La Macarena, in the Bogota downtown, near the Museo Nacional (National Museum of Colombia). The fourth branch is located in the Zona G.
